Initial Research

Here is the initial results from the desk research, which is still undergoing.

We start from one cultural group, the Chinese speaking immigrants, which make up the largest visible minority group nationwide, 4.8% of the total population, most of whom live in Ontario. According to Census 2021, Ottawa, with a population just above one million, hosted about 48,000 Chinese speaking immigrants, among whom over 22,000 could not speak English, and nearly half of them live in places in or near downtown Ottawa.

The inability of communication prevent them from getting integrated in their local communities as a result of which, they are not only marginalized, but also politically manipulated and leveraged as a tool for some to achieve their political agenda that do harm to Canadian society.

The following is the initial analysis that is drawn from Canadian Census 2021 from https://statcan.gc.ca with detailed source info indicated. The data may support the above statement.
